OMHA Playdowns
The Thorold Peewee Blackhawks had a great weekend going undefeated. Friday defeating Port Colborne 7-0 and tying Lincoln 2-2. On Saturday the good play continued with a 4-2 win against NOTL and a 3-1 win against Pelham. Thorold finished 1st after the round robin part of the playoffs. This set up a rematch against Pelham. Both teams played a strong game with Thorold scoring early in the first period. That is how the score stayed until midway through the 3rd period where Thorold would score 4 goal on their way to a 5-0 victory.
Thorold will now play the Lincoln Blades in the 1/4 finals of the OMHA playdowns starting this week.
