Collingwood Huronia Tournament
The Midget BB team traveled to Collingwood this past weekend and proudly represented Thorold Minor Hockey.
Playing 4 games over 2 days, with 3 games on Saturday, the team played hard and finished the tournament with a 3-1 record defeating teams from Twin Centre, London, and Cambridge. In our third game on Saturday we faced the Lambeth Avalanche in the Semi Finals in a spirited fast paced game falling 3-2 in the shootout, following double OT.
We cannot be prouder with our team who fought through injuries resulting in a shortened bench, and a 3 game in 1 day schedule. It was a great team effort all weekend long, with a lot of positives taken away. Thank you to Collingwood Minor Hockey for a well run tournament, along with many thanks to the Blue Mountain Resort for their hospitality.
