RULES OF PLAY

· The Modified games will be set up as Half-Ice format with centre dividers
· A blue (4 oz) puck will be used
· Prior to each game the teams must complete a Game Participant List Indicating the name and number of each player as well as all Team Officials that will be participating in that modified game (Only the Players and Team Officials on the Teams approved roster are eligible to participate.)
· A minimum of one Team Official per team shall be on the ice at all times with their Rostered team
· A player may play goal, but full goaltender equipment is not required
· The length of a game is 45 minutes (2 x 22-minute halves) plus a three-minute warm-up. ( 3 minute break in between periods)
· Each modified game shall start play in the centre of the ice with a face-off. Each period will start play in the centre of the ice with a face-off.
· The centre spot will be marked to indicate where the face-off will take place. This is to be established at the midpoint between both nets.
· Type of Play: 4vs4 and 5v5 will be decided prior to each game. It will be established how many players per bench (team will be playing) This process will allow equal and fair play time for all players
· Shift length shall be 2 minutes per shift and be on a set buzzer/time system.
· The clock will continue to run during the full time of ice
· The end of a period and game will be indicated with a long buzzer sound

This Jamboree is about fun and fare play for all of the children
