2024 / 2025 NDHL – STUDENT BURSARY AWARD

The Niagara District Hockey League is pleased to announce we will be handing out two (2) student bursary awards at seasons end.

Each award will come with a commemorative plaque and a cheque for $1,000.00 to put towards the recipients continuing post-secondary education.

Each center will be responsible for electing up to two (2) individuals from each of their U18 or U21 teams to complete the online application.

The deadline for submission will be March 31 / 2025. Winners be notified and invited to the NDHL AGM on April 21st to receive their awards.

REQUIREMENT(S)
 MUST BE A GRADUATING PLAYER FROM CURRENT NDHL SEASON
 MUST HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO A POST SECONDARY EDUCATION SYSTEM (UNIVERSITY / COLLEGE / SKILLED TRADE / INSTITUTION)
 MUST DEMONSTRATE EXCEPTIONAL BOTH ON AND OFF ICE ATTRIBUTES
 PREFERED HIGH EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS / GRADES
 PREFERED LOCAL / COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT AND/OR VOLUNTEER TIME
 PREFERED LONGEVITY WITHIN THE NDHL
