THOROLD ARENA COVID GUIDELINES
UPDATED  DECEMBER 18 2021

Ø  PARTICIPANTS / PARENTS MAY ATTEND THE ARENA PRIOR TO THE 15 MINUTE DRESSING ROOM RESTICTION 
      IN ORDER TO ENSURE THEY ARE SCREENED THROUGH THE DOORS IN TIME.

Ø  DRESSING ROOMS WILL BE LOCKED UNTIL 15 MINS PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED TIME

    (Keys are obtained at the front screening Entrance – for Coaches (Must supply a trade for the keys))

 

Ø  OCCUPANCY LIMITS FOR THE DRESSING ROOMS ARE POSTED; BENCHES ARE PROVIDED OUTSIDE OF ROOMS
     FOR THOSE ABOVE THE OCCUPANCY LIMIT.  THE USER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THE OCCUPANCY

Ø  PLAYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME PARTIALLY DRESSED TO CUT DOWN ON THE TIME REQUIRED IN THE
    DRESSING ROOMS  -

 

Ø  ALL PLAYERS & COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO EXIT THE DRESSING ROOM NO MORE THAN 15 MINS AFTER
    THEIR SCHEDULED TIME

 

Ø  SHOWERS WILL REMAIN OPEN AT THIS TIME.  GROUPS HAVE 15 MINS AFTER THE RENTAL TO SHOWER
    AND VACATE. 

 

Ø  MASKS REMAIN MANDATORY INSIDE THE FACILITY. THIS INCLUDES THE DRESSING ROOMS

 

Ø  NO PARENTS/NON PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE DRESSING ROOM HALL /ROOMS.
    THIS SPACE IS ONLY FOR COACHES AND PARTICIPANTS

 

Effective December 20 2021

Ø  FOOD AND DRINK IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE ARENA. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO,
    OUTSIDE FOOD (I.E. TIM HORTONS) AND PURCHASED FOOD. PLAYERS MAY BRING WATER AND SPORTS
    DRINK AS REQUIRED FOR ATHLETIC PROGRAMS.

Ø  SPECTATOR’S WILL BE LIMITED AS FOLLOWS

o    NO MORE THAN 50 SPECTATORS OR 2/ SPECTATORS PER PARTICIPANT IN THE WHYTE ARENA

o    NO MORE THAN 300 SPECTATORS IN THE DOHERTY ARENA

    

Ø  IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT SPECTATORS AVOID CLOSE CONTACT

Ø  MINIMIZE TIME SPENT IN TIGHT SPACES SUCH AS CORRIDORS AND ENTRIES

Ø  KEEP 6FT SPACING UPON ENTERING THE FACILITY

Ø  KEEP 6FT SPACING APART IN PROGRAM/EVENT AREA

Ø  DO NOT LOITER IN THE LOBBY

 

Effective December 25 2021

Ø  ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE FACILITY 12 AND UP MUST SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION AND
    IDENTIFICATION TO STAFF OR DESIGNATED VOLUNTEERS PRIOR TO ENTERING THE FACILITY.

Ø  THE CITY OF THOROLD WILL ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING AS PROOF OF VACCINATION:

o    QR CODE

o    CAF VACCINATION BOOKLET

o    VACCINATION RECEIPT FROM INDIGENOUS HEALTH CARE PROVIDER
