Jumpstart helps kids between the ages of 4 to 18 by assisting with the costs associated with the registration, equipment and/or transportation for sports and physical activity programming.
Jumpstart update - July 21 2023
The information is correct. Jumpstart strives to support all Canadian children have the opportunity to participate in organized sports and recreational activities. Unfortunately our support must align with our revenue, and when demand for funding is high, as it is right now, there are times when funds have been depleted and much to our regret, funding is not available in your region.
Please refer the families to check the website often should funds become available as we do not have a set day that it will reopen.
Niagara's Prokids program supports the participation of eligible children and youth in the sport, recreational or cultural activity of their choice.
Kidsport is a grass roots Canadian non-profit organization that provides support to under resourced children and youth 18 years of age and under across the country by removing financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sports.
Lace'Em Up has partnered with Hockey Canada to continue supporting kids play hockey, by paying for hockey registration dues to those who qualify. This is being done through the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund.
