TAAA Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) Information (2024)
ALL VOLUNTEER POSITIONS BOTH ON AND OFF THE ICE REQUIRE A VALID VULNERABLE SECTOR POLICE CHECK
VSC are managed by the Niagara Regional Police Service and can be completed via their online portal found at the link below:
https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/niagara/
You will require a VSC Letter from the TAAA to submit your request to NRPS.
Once your VSC is received, your OHF Screening Declaration form and your VSC needs to be submitted to the OHF Screening Submissions Portal.
You will need your:
• Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) Number;
AND
• Vulnerable Sector Check (PDF) AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF);
OR
•Receipt of Vulnerable Sector Check (PDF) AND OHF Screening Declaration Form(PDF);
Please Note:
1. All documents must be in PDF format to be accepted.
2. For the 2024-25 season, the OHF will be accepting copies of a Vulnerable Sector Check from 2022-23 or 2023-24 AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF).
