OUR SEASON IS SADLY ENDING
Submitted By Kathy Dittrich on Wednesday, February 3, 2021
The following notice has been received today from the City of Thorold.

“We are contacting all Arena User Groups to provide an update on the current status of the Thorold Community Arenas.  After much consideration, Thorold City Council has made the difficult decision to remove ice from the Doherty Arena effective immediately. The Arena remains closed to the public as per the governments current lockdown measures.”

As a result of this announcement the TAAA has no choice but to conclude our 2020/2021 Hockey season.  We as a Board had hopes of resuming hockey if/when it was safe to do so.  Unfortunately not having ice available to us any longer in Thorold, we will have to put an end to our season.
We will be communicating more information to our members in the coming days as to how we will proceed with refunds and/or credits. Thank you in advance for your patience .. stay safe !
