The great goaltending continued into this game which helped us all weekend.  With a hard fought weekend coming to an end, the kids put up a valiant effort but we came up short against Pelham Panthers in a 3-1 loss. Player of the Game was Andrew Isherwood. The coaching staff is happy with the overall effort of the team, this group has come a long way from the beginning. Great job kids! We now get ready for some games to be posted for the District Playoffs.

In the first game of the day against the Pelham Panthers, our team put out a decent effort but came up just short in a 2-1 loss. We had another very good goaltending performance from the Player of the Game, Zachary Laws. In the second game of the day, we again put out a good effort and stayed competitive but lost another close one 3-2 to the Lincoln Blades. We were given another good goaltending performance with Player of the Game, Ridley Paone. With our good first day performance we ended up seeded 3rd after the round robin part of the playdowns. In the morning game, the kids didn't have their skating legs yet but we pulled out a late second Tie against NOTL Wolves 1-1. Good goaltending and late game heroics got us to a good spot. Player of the Game and lone goal scorer was Andrew Isherwood. In game 2, the kids played with a bit more intensity and coupled with good goal tending, we were able to squeak out an ugly 4-3 win against the host Port Colborne Sailors. Player of the Game was (a sick but healthy enough to play) Justin Jean-Joseph who had 2 goals.

For our final regular season game, we faced NOTL Wolves. We gave up an early lead but battled back for the 3-3 tie. Player of the Game was Olivia Trotcha who gave us her best effort of the season to date. Friday starts a hard weekend of games in the OMHA playdowns.

We had good goaltending and solid play on both ends for us to come away with a 1-0 win on Saturday afternoon. Lets keep this going heading into the OMHA's. Player of the game was Jackson Zaolt.
